From the Producer Alexia Zavaleta:
This coffee comes from the Zongolica region of Veracruz, grown at 1,600 meters above sea level. It is naturally processed.
My name is Alexia Zavaleta. I produce and process specialty coffee, and this is my fourth year working in the coffee industry. The coffee is single-origin, and I am the first woman in my family to take on the responsibility of stewarding our farm.
Finca Coyametla has a uniquely privileged location. The combination of humidity, soil, wind, and rainfall creates an environment that gives our coffee exceptional flavor characteristics.
One of my most important goals is to produce coffee in a way that is socially and environmentally responsible.
